Coding Period Week 1 With LibreHealth For GSoC

 

Introduction:

Google Summer of Code (GSoC) coding period with LibreHealth. In this week's installment, we will delve into the progress made during the Community Bonding Period
Setting the Stage:
As the first week of the coding period began, the initial excitement and enthusiasm transformed into focused determination. Armed with a deeper understanding of the project and equipped with feedback from mentors still looking upto initial meetings for depth discussions.

Navigating the Codebase:

The first week often presents its own set of challenges, primarily centered around navigating the complex codebase of the LibreHealth project that is Enhancement To ECEB Application. Understanding the architecture, identifying key modules, and grasping the interconnections between different components can be a formidable task.

Implementing New Features and Enhancements:

With the groundwork laid, it is time to embark on the implementation of new features and enhancements. This iterative process will ensure that our contributions adhered to the organization's standards and meet the project's specific needs. To ensure this weekly meeting is put for chalking out week-by-week plans and making issues on the GitLab platform since the project is a little delayed since the discussion with mentors has not been possible for the week plan and also exams in June, progress is just starting. 

What Progress Have You Made This Week

  • Navigated The CodeBase And Pointed Out Areas To Work 
  • Discussion Regarding the initial meet for the project on forums and chat

What Do I Plan To Do Next Week

  • Develop UI For Baby Assessment Screen
  • Implement Splash Screen UI
  • Improve underlying widgets UI
  • Start work on the login screen implementation

Have you had any blockers or issues that are impeding your project?

  • I have various doubts regarding project including DHIS2 server
  • Architecture And Code Understanding Issues

Looking Ahead:

As moving forward to the first week, I am energized by the progress made and the knowledge gained. But this is just the beginning. The coding period with LibreHealth is a marathon, not a sprint, and there is much work yet to be done. There Is lot to explore and discuss.

Community Bonding Period GSoC Under LibreHealth Week 1

Introduction: Greetings everyone! As a GSoC participant with LibreHealth, I am excited to share my first blog which marks the start of this amazing journey. In this series of blogs, I will provide an overview of my activities and work throughout the program, the project I am working on, and the initial steps I've taken to contribute to the LibreHealth organization. Project Overview: My GSoC project with LibreHealth focuses on Enhancing their healthcare management system.
